The good 'ole days?

The last few weeks have been really interesting around here. A few mornings ago I woke up to an extremely freezing bedroom. Our bedroom is always ridiculously cold but on this particular morning the temperature said 52 degrees! We later found out that we needed a control circuit board (which my brilliant husband repaired on his own!) Not long after that we lost our internet, cable, and telephone due to a tree down. That same day a water pipe burst in our town and we lost our water. No internet, cable, telephone, water, me stoking a fire to keep my babies from freezing and my husband out on a hunting trip (for food?). Not quite what I had in mind by an old fashioned Christmas!
