Spring Flowers

Here are some pictures of our recent flowers. Above are fresh cuttings from our lilac bush. I love how they fill the whole house with their fragrance.

Below is a one of Tess' double petal tulips. She picked these out (pink of course!) and planted the bulbs in the fall. They were really lovely and didn't look like a typical tulip.
Here is Tess looking at the first Hyacinth coming up around Easter time.
The Weigelia in full bloom. This is the first time we've seen it bloom since we planted it last year. If you don't remember, last year we did a major flower bed overhaul after we were being considered for the show "Desperate Landscapes". Yep, nothing like a little embarrassment to get you motivated to do some yard work!:)
My pride and joy: Double Pink Knock-Out Roses.
Lots and lots of sweet smelling English Lavender.
Here is the Wisteria in bloom over our arbor-big grape like clusters of purple flowers.
After the blooms fade the greenery starts to fill in. I love how full it gets but it's in need for some tidying up as the branches are hitting the car when we drive through! I took this picture this morning.
Day Lily garden will be blooming in a few weeks. At the end with the little white fence is Tess' garden. She planted some seeds and we are anxious to see how they do!
And lastly, here are my little gardeners. They are watering the Gerber daisies with the jump rope sprinkler.
Gracie pouring some water in the snapdragons.

Wow these are beautiful! We are working in phases on overhauling our sad landscape. We put in a few knock out roses, too! I hope mine get as big as yours!
