Snow--Finally!

Tess has been waiting and waiting for a good snow storm. Well, we got it! First came about 6 inches of snow, followed by an inch of ice and then another 6 inches to finish off the snow lasagna!

My snow princess. . .decided that she didn't want a "snowman" but instead a "snowgirl." Here's our beautiful creation all decked out in a tiara, bracelets, and necklace.

We put a bowl of bird seed at the snowgirl's feet and have been enjoying the constant company of cardinals. I haven't been able to get a picture but it is so beautiful seeing the bright red against the white snow! (Reuben, our dog, is also very excited about the snow and the cardinals in the yard!)
These two pictures of Gracie were taken earlier in the week before the big snow storm hit. She enjoyed playing in the 2 inches of snow and was napping while we played in the deep snow on Wednesday.
It's never too cold for taking a swing!
Ok, so we got our really big snow, NOW it can be spring!
