Swim Lessons

One of Joel's uncles and aunts bought the girls swim lessons, new adorable ladybug bathing suits, and swim robes for Christmas. What a wonderful and FUN gift! The girls enjoyed a month of lessons at the YMCA. Both girls are pretty comfortable in the water but it was so fun to watch them learning some new skills.

Here's Tess working on kicking skills.
Gracie learning to swim with a floating bar.
Gracie took her class with daddy. Here she is learning to dunk daddy? Or maybe just wiping the water off his head.
I have great memories of the many summers my sister and I took swim classes with the American Red Cross. Now I'm so happy that my girls are starting to learn not only confidence but also safety in the water. The other night I said something about the bubbles in the bathtub while the girls were taking a bath. Right as I said "bubbles" Gracie immediately put her face in the water and started blowing bubbles like she did in class.

So proud of my little ladybugs!
