It was taken in December 2004 (Tess was one month old) at my parent's house over Christmas. I am a big fan of babywearing, and Tess literally lived in this Maya wrap sling for her first few months. This is one of my favorite pictures of the three of us when Tess was a newborn. So, phew, I lucked out -- it was good one!

I was tagged!
My dear friend, Angie, tagged me on her blog. I was asked to open my sixth picture file and open to the sixth picture and post it and blog about it. Sounded like fun but I started getting a little nervous about what picture it would turn out to be. We bought our digital camera (and therefore started "filing" pictures) the summer before Tess was born. On a mental flip-through of the files I started thinking that the sixth file would probably be around Tess' birth. Yikes! No offense, ya'll, but don't think I'll be posting one of those! Happily, when I opened up the files I found this one:

yay! thanks for playing! i also thought i would end up with some terrible photo, and was happy when i saw which one it was. it was almost one of tess and lily going down the inflatable slide. lily loves your blog. she loves the videos of the girls. she'll say, "can i see pictures of my friends?" miss you all.
