Gracie "Interpreting"

It seems Gracie has been learning a new word to say and sign every day. She can say over 25 words and has about that many signs (she signs most of the words she can't say). A few weeks ago I thought we would see how many words she could say if we signed them to her. I was able to get some on video, so here is a little video of Tess signing and Gracie saying what the words are.

I tried to caption the words as she said them, but was having trouble with the video. So since it is sometimes hard to hear Gracie's little 16 month old voice, here is a list of the signs/words that she is saying (a few of them are repeated):

APPLE, DUCK, CUP, BABY, BALL, BOOK, PUP-PUP (puppy), CAT, MOMMA, DADDA, HAT, BALL, BOOK, FISH, BABY.

What sweet girls! Makes me so excited for Anabelle and Lily's interaction. Anabelle has just started smiling at Lily, with dear, sweet coos. I love having girls!!!
