Spring Break in MD

We had a wonderful time last week in Maryland with my family. My mom flew out to our house and we packed up the girls and Reuben (my dog) and drove to MD for the week. One of the greatest things about the DC area is there is always so much to do, so as always, our week was jam packed with fun! From an art class, camping in the yard, a visit to the Aviation Museum, an egg hunt ending in a BIG surprise, dinner at our favorite Japanese restaurant with family, lots of loving on my nephew, celebrating the resurrection of our Savior together, hours of laughing at each other playing the Wii, mourning the loss of my Grandfather again as we received the package from the Navy about his burial at sea, the girl's butterfly face paintings, and just plain enjoying being with my family that I miss so much, we had a great time! I will be doing a few upcoming posts about out time there, but for now here are few pictures.

An area rec center had an art class the girls attended. It was a blast! Here is my mom and Tess making a paper mache' pig. (Notice all the awesome art project kids have done on the walls!)
My little artists working together on a painting.Gracie hard at work.
Tess enjoyed a kid's paper airplane contest at The College Park Aviation Museum and both girls had a blast in the museum.
Learning about air flow in the museum.
