This is the night Joel came home from his three month trip--can you see the pure joy on the girls' faces?

Singing, "Happy Birthday, Jesus" on Christmas Eve.

Our advent illustrations lining the kitchen cabinets.

Preparing to see Nutcracker for the first time.

Each year the girls get their own Christmas ornament relating to something special that year. Tess picked out a Sugar Plum Fairy at the Nutcracker and here is the ornament we picked for Gracie.

I was happy to host Christmas dinner this year. I jump at any chance to use my dear Great Great Uncle Tommy's china and my Great Aunt Frances' silver!

Of the funniest places we "found" Sammy this year--he made a snow angel in a pile of flour on the counter.

Our yearly, highly anticipated "snacks for dinner, play games, read books, watch movies and family sleep by the fire, under the Christmas tree, amidst all the open presents" night.

Sammy's last message for the girls (he was hiding in the door wreath) before he went away until next year.

And finally, here is Gracie Rose singing her version of "Away in a Manager" - she kind of mixes all three verses together, but it is just pure sweetness. (Sorry it's not very clear--the video was really dark and when I lightened it up I lost some of the quality.)
