Cubbies Regatta

The AWANA Cubbies had their boat race this week and Gracie Rose was very excited to participate. She decided that she wanted to have A Very Hungry Caterpillar boat and here it is!

(Sorry for the quality and quantity of decent pictures, I forget my camera so a friend took a few with her iPhone.)
Getting ready to start the race! The clubbers had to blow through a straw to get their boat to sail. Baby goldfish were swimming around while the boats were racing!
Gracie did a great job although I let out an audible gasp when at one point she put the straw in the water and looked like she was about to suck it in! Watch out little fishies!
This I thought was just funny. We were working on Gracie's Cubbie verse and I left the room. When I came back she had flipped ahead a few weeks and was signing my name on the line. Not quite on the "parent" line but still funny that she was filling it out that we had completed it!
