After they sang, Jeff came and sat on the stage next to Tess. He slapped her on the knee and said what a great job she did!
Here's the whole choir. The theme was "Big Apple Adventure" so you can see the NYC skyline in the background.

VBS Choir
Tess has been enjoying being a part of the kids choir at our church this year. She was asked to go with a handful of kids from our church to join a choir of children all over the state of Ohio to teach/perform the newest Vacation Bible School songs to the teachers attending a training conference. Tess always absolutely loves the VBS songs and learning the sign language that goes along with it so she was thrilled! One of the most exciting things about being part of the state kid's choir was getting to meet Jeff Slaughter, the man who has written the VBS songs for the past 15 years! He is an amazing song writer and the girls were a little star struck!
