Tess-isms

I had to post some of the funny things that Tess has said recently.

Tonight, a couple of interesting topics came up during story time. We were reading from her Bible story book and and we were reading about Queen Esther. I read, "...the king saw Esther and fell in love..." Tess asks, "How do you FALL in love?" "It just means that he loved her very much, " I say. "But how do they FALL?" I get around it somehow and finish the story. Next story is Cinderella. I'm reading about how the stepsisters are jealous and I explain how jealousy is not a good thing and ask her if she understands what jealousy is. She then says, "If your friends are playing and you want to play with them too and you are jealous. But there is no reason to be jealous, you just ask them if you can play with them." I was impressed with her example and we kept reading Cinderella. When we get to the part that Cinderella and the prince are dancing she interrupts me and asks, "Is that when they fall down in love?" "It sure is," I tell her.

Gracie Rose loves to pull Tess's hair. Whenever Gracie pulls, Tess says, "Don't pull my hair, Gracie, you will get your own hair soon!"

Tess asked a few weeks ago if she would need a ladder to hug God when she gets to heaven. I told her I didn't know. Then she wanted to know if God was going to be "all sparkle-y." I told her yes, He will probably be very shiny and sparkle-y. Her eyes got big and excited and she then asked if when she hugged God if he would make her all sparkle-y. I told her probably yes. Now she was really excited and said "I wanna go! I wanna go!"
