I could hear my Grandfather laughing the other day with my mom and then I heard Tess say, "I'm doing the jig!" (Her version of an Irish jig is dancing with her hands on her hips and kicking her legs straight out front.) It was so sweet to hear my Grandfather laughing at her. I snapped this cute moment of them together on the porch swing. We were all sitting outside and I heard Gracie waking up from her nap. I asked Tess is she wanted to come with me to get Gracie up (she always wants to be the first one Gracie sees when she wakes up) but Tess said, "No, I'm going to stay here and keep an eye on Grandpa Buster."

Maryland Part I
The girls and I (and Reuben, our dog) are in Maryland for a few weeks visiting my family. I really hate living so far from them but I am so thankful for the times I can spend visiting. It's a little crazy with four generations and 3 dogs all under one roof but we are having a great time.

For weeks my mom has been telling Tess about this restaurant that has face painting for kids on Monday nights, and Tess has been looking forward to being a kitty cat for weeks. So finally tonight, Tess got to get her face painted. She looked so cute and the artist did an amazing job! (her face is all glittery but it didn't show up in the pictures)
