An Enchanted Fifth Birthday Party

This year for Tess' birthday we decided to have an extra special birthday party. I love throwing birthday parties, but this year was such a unique time. Not only because it was her fifth birthday, but there were so many other things going on. Joel out of the country, me dealing with multiple thryoid biopsies, and my mom here for the first time ever for one of the girl's birthday parties.

So in lieu of presents from us and my parents, we decided her gift would be a special birthday party. The first time I saw this place was a few years ago and it literally brought tears to my eyes with its beauty. It is truly every girl's dream and I couldn't wait until I had a daughter old enough for a party there.
(Sorry I'm not listing the proper name of the place since I try to keep this a semi-anonymous blog, not listing full names and places showing where we live.)

The girls gathered in the toy store where they were led through the secret wardrobe into...
NARNIA! The room was decorated with snow, icicles, a huge sleigh with a stuffed lion and even a Narnia lightpost.
The birthday girl is trying to catch imaginary snowflakes on her tongue! It was so sweet how all the girls were acting like they were feeling cold. I also remember a beautiful Enya song playing in the background.
Each girl got to wear a big white boa and have their picture taken with Tess in the sleigh.
Next was the fairy room where Tess received her magic key that would open the the doors to the enchanted rooms to come. The girls then made their way to see what was next upstairs.
At the top of the stairs the girls stopped at a door. Tess had to use her "magic" key and knock on the door 5 times (for her fifth birthday) and then all the girls said, "Happy Birthday, Princess Tess!" The door was then unlocked and they entered the tea room (seriously, one of the most gorgeous rooms I've ever seen!)
While in this room, the girls set up a tea party for all their babies and animals that they brought with them.
With five knocks and another "Happy Birthday, Princess Tess!" the girls made their way into another room which elicited squeals and gasps of pure joy! The Dress Up Room!

Seriously, the attention to detail is just amazing! Every inch is decorated! After decorating their bags, the girls picked out lots of goodies including sparkly hats, Christmas ornaments and lip gloss lollipops to take home.It was then time for the girls to have a ball with all the dress up clothes and accessories!
So many things to choose!
Each of the girls got a sparkly fairy kiss star on their cheek (which Gracie is modeling.)
Here are some beautiful fancy girls!
An adorable and creative use for a skirt!
Look at all those fairy wings!
Every fairy princess got to pick out a magic wand.
It was then time to check out their final look in the mirror.
All the fancy girls were then led in a parade by the birthday girl.
Time for five more knocks on another door.
Behind that door was a magic, sparkly kitchen where the girls decorated cookies.
Lots of pink icing and sprinkles!
Time to go back to the beautiful tea room to have pink lemonade and cookies!
A sweet toothed Gracie girl diving into her cookie.
Some happy party girls.
Time for cupcakes and the birthday song!
Finally, it was time for presents, followed by one last adventure into the jungle where Tess' birthday key opened a chest where all the girls got a candy ring.

What a beautiful birthday party for my beautiful, precious five year old girl! It was a truly an enchanted birthday party and one that will always be remembered.

My only regret of the day was that I didn't get a picture of me and the girls together or one of me and my mom and the girls. I thought this was a cute picture and if you look closely it does have all three of us in it!

Oh my goodness! We went here when Haleigh was 4!! It was for another girl's party, but it was beautiful! I love looking at the pictures, and the entire time, I was thinking how fun it was for me...a grown up princess :)

It looks like Tess had a wonderful birthday. Can you e-mail me with the name of the place you went to? I need a place for Miss C's birthday next year! Thx
