Happy Fifth Birthday, Tess!

Today our Tess turned five years old. I really can't believe how fast five years have gone by.

She continues to be sweet, thoughtful and gentle. Everything she does, she thinks through thoroughly--she is never one to make a rash decision or push her way through and make a fuss. And although she almost always thinks of others before herself, she is never shy and quick to make friends of all ages wherever she goes.

Sweetness is the best word to describe Tess, eager to please, caring to others and sensitive to so many things in life. My sweet girl cried tears of joy as she hugged me when I read the birthday card I made for her. She is growing so quickly and while she is becoming quite a young lady, I treasure her innocence. She hasn't learned to be self conscience of others so she dances and sings without a care in the world as if no one is watching.

We couldn't be prouder of our big girl, who is truly as beautiful inside as she is out. Her brilliance amazes me, her kindness encourages me and her love for Jesus inspires me. She is becoming such an amazing little person, I am so honored to be her mother.
